Charming and comfortable mudbrick homestead with private old fashioned rose garden set in rocky Central Otago landscapes. Owing to a mistake on the part of the railway surveyors, the house ended up 50 metres from the railway line, which is now a walking, biking and horse riding route called the Otago Central Rail Trail. The guest house is now part of a working deer, sheep and cattle farm and guests may like to observe the day to day activities. The farm includes a number of very friendly pets who only visit if invited: Ellie the dog, Percy & Ruby the kune kune pigs, Legs and Tudu the cats as well as several chickens.
Sleeps 8 adults. Fully equipped laundry and kitchen. 2 Bathrooms with underfloor heating. There is also a summer vegetable and herb garden planted next to the house for guest use.
No of Rooms: Bookings can be made for the whole house or individual rooms. 1 Queen bedroom, 1 Double Bedroom, 2 Twin Bedrooms. All linen supplied, feather duvets, electric blankets, heaters, bathrobes & towels.
